Each year many animals are lost and end up at local animal shelters and humane societies around the country. This web site was created to enable shelter personnel to publish photos of the animals currently housed at their shelters. Shelters subscribing to this site will be updating their pages daily with pictures and descriptions of animals currently under their care.

Officially launched on December 7, 2001, our site is in its infancy, with only the animals of the Shelby County Animal Shelter listed. Our future plans are to add more Ohio counties to our list as interest grows. For now, simply select the Shelby County Animal Shelter from the dropdown list above  to view photos of the animals currently housed there.
